Gelato bag

Here is my finished Gelato bag. This picture makes it look more lemon in color, but it is actually closer to the color below. More of a bright lime green. It's also bigger than the picture on the pattern makes it look. It's about 12" wide. I did use the kit that Fiber
Trends recommends. It's a lovely springy wool and a mohair you hold with it. It was very quick to do, 2 days. There are a couple of "design elements" that I am not going to divulge because I am not going to always pick on myself for the mistakes in my pieces that no one else could ever see. Lets just say it would be nice every once in a while if I really read a pattern instead of believing I know what comes next. It's the only area of my life that I seem to be a perfectionist in.

Here I am working on the bag with my buddy with me. Sonic is from the Humane Society. He is a Jack Russell, but doesn't have the usual brown on the face. He's always curled up next to me when I'm on my couch. I'd like to leave you with the impression that he is a large dog against my average size body. This is not the case, of course. I am a lady of Edwardian Girth and am happy for it.
