How is it that I am always caught by surprise when there are no clean socks? How is it if I have not done a load of wash, or asked someone else to do a load, that I am then taken aback when the younger boys have no clean pants. Truly I do not do most of the laundry, and at this point all of the kids do know how to run the machines. But they do not just miraculously go down and put a load in. I need to have in my brain that it has been a while since anyone has done a load. All of this means that WE ARE AGAIN OUT OF CLEAN CLOTHES. I mean, isn't there a little man who does this sort of thing? Where is Alice? I have 6 children, I've checked, she does not live in the room behind the kitchen. There is just no way to get around actually going down to the dungeon and physically putting it in the machine. I have a lot of problems with things like this. My husband will try to get me to look at money or some really stupid thing like that, and he will say,"It is what it is. I cannot make the numbers say anything different" which is totally untrue because he works in corporate America and uses numbers. He knows how to make them say different things. AAARG. Going to do laundry now.
