Knitting First, Life Second

I am the proud mother of a potter! These are #4's first bowls from his pottery class. He's been going on Saturday mornings to The Mad Potter in Pottsville, taking lessons. Mary and her helper E. are really good teachers, they know when to keep hands off so the kids learn on their own, and when to give a little help. They understand failure is a part of learning! Too many people these days don't want to see young people go wrong in anything they do, so they over-help. They have the right balance. So here are his wonderful bowls. And he discovered last night that the smaller is just right for 2 scoops of ice cream!
