New goodies

This is my reward for making it through the week. It wasn't a really horrible week, but not great. I now apparently have allergies. I thought I just had a cold all week but decided to get some claritan as people were saying I may have allergies. I do feel a little better, but hardly slept at all last night. I got my car back today, it was inspected on Tuesday, and of course it needed a water pump. Husband did buy extended warranty though. But I just had his truck this week. I guess I shouldn't complain, I could have been without anything to drive. He has been in Texas this week. And we had a concert for two boys last night. I ask you, what teacher gives 50 kids kazoos to take home and tells them to bring them back? Unfortunately in a moment of no self control I asked the teacher that exact question. We had words. But son 5 had of course left his at home, and I didn't have time to drive home to get it. And they would not give out extras. The only thing I can say about it is about half of the kids did not have their kazoos! I'm all for holding them accountable, but I know from scouts you just never give out things you want back for an event. Stupid woman. It was a lesson for son 5, he didn't get upset about it, in the past he would have fallen apart.
Bought the yarn to make The Ernie Sweater from the Stitch N Bitch book. Son 5 wants it. It looks like stockinette hell. But he deserves it, he's such a great kid, he never asks for anything. And he takes a lot of abuse from having 5 brothers. I let him bring home 2 gerbils from his math teacher yesterday. He named them after his best friend and his best friend's brother.
