Knitting First, Life Second

On Friday after Longwood Gardens we had the drive from hell (thanks to mapquest and GPS both) through not good parts of Norristown, bumper to bumper traffic, and me driving behind them with my phone beeping low battery! But we made it to our beautiful hotel, and had Chili's room service!!! Then on Saturday we took a tour of Fonthill castle in Doylestown, and went to the folk fest at the Mercer Museum. It was very very fun. We also walked around downtown Doylestown (found a yarn shop, imagine that) , then went back to our room. Home the next morning on mother's day. My family had weeded, planted and mulched all the flower beds for me. So it was really MY weekend! So much fun. But Susan can REALLY snore, and she's up and at em' at 6:30 even on weekends! Shhesh! It's the weekend guys! But we did keep her up with our talking , "Hey, hey, hey-it's 10 of 11!!" Like we thought there was a fire or something. And like it was 3 am! 10 of 11. But at the festival we saw this guy sheer 3 sheep. 2 milkers and 1 Corriedale. He was fast! Sadly no fiber for sale.
