No, I didn't actually run off the road, I just realized I could have, and thought about what my excuse would be.
"I'm sorry I ran off the road officer, I was measuring my steering wheel to knit a cover for it, and I didn't have my measuring tape, but I did have yarn, so I was laying it around the wheel and cutting it off to measure later..."
