These are made out of some lovely JoJoland. It's difficult to see here, thankfully, but I screwed up the pattern big time. My problem with the Jaywalker every single time is that I want to count the number of stitches for each row, and can't get it through my head that the count is off each time, and is suppose to be. So I inadvertantly try to "fix" it, and mess up the look. I loved the way this yarn turned out, and I could never wear these and not remember that I messed them up. So after working on them for 5 days, out they came. The gauge was quite small, they were taking forever. Having said that, since the gauge looked so small, I made them the medium size, which was incorrect. They felt sloppy. They would have turned around in my shoe. So I didn't want to waste quite nice yarn. I need to remember: For Jaywalkers, make the smaller size, and the count will be off on various rows, it's suppose to be!
