Can you believe he's 18!!
He thinks the cool thing about being 18 is he can work the ropes course at work. He wanted video games and a new guitar for his birthday. So that's what he got. His brother drove some friends and him to the guiter center in Allentown, and he got to fool around for a long time looking for what he wanted. He ended up having to order the one he had had his eye on. He's not big on cake, so I just got him a small ice cream cake.
18 years ago he was a really fat (10 lbs) baby, who cried all the time. His older brother became glued to him right from the beginning. A lot of things have always come easy for him, sports, anything physical. He was always fast. Always smart. But he was a most clingy child. They were raised on my hip anyway, but when he was a young teen he was still very very shy. That changed when he started going to The King's Academy, and working. Now I wouldn't say he's shy at all. He lead a small group at school last year for chapel. So we're very proud of him.
Happy Birthday Chris!
