as to complete all my projects. I spent today pulling out ever skein of yarn I own (3 XL Ziploc bags), writing down what they are intended for, making a list of yarn I have no plans for, yardage, what it's suited for. Then going through all my books and my Ravelry saved favorites, and queue, and PDF's saved in my library, and things saved to my hard drive. Then matched up the patterns with the yarns so now they have a purpose. Then made a list of all the patterns I MUST make someday and requirements for each. I just got done putting all of this on an excel spreadsheet. I have 30 projects that I have both the yarn and the pattern for. I know there are people who have more, I was just surprised. I just don't want to do the whole stash thing on Ravelry, it sounds like too much work with the pix and all. This will do. And in the future when I go into a new shop I won't be just picking out what catches my eye, I'll have patterns I need yarn for. And still buy what catches my eye.
