Children's angora mittens????

On my sidebar I just saw "childrens angora mittens" on the free knitting patterns slideshow. Now I ask, who in their right mind would make ANGORA mittens for their kid? So they can drop them in the muddy sludge on the bus stop? So they can lose one 2 days after you finish them? I want a pair of angora mittens. I have a very small hank of pure white, pure angora, and it is so precious to me that I'm not sure what to do with it. It's like 87 yards, I think. Maybe just cuffs on something. It'll probably be one of those things I'll keep and not use, just touch it every once in a while. But I can assure you, it will never make it's way onto any of my son's hands!
