Finished hat

Below is my finished Dunner hat. I am calling it that because I took the cable pattern from this green Alfred Dunner sweater. I am going to line it with fleece, the sport weight wool I used isn't very warm in this gauge. I used a 4 needle, and it says this yarn is a 5 needle gauge, but it's still pretty big. The hat is more of a chocolate brown than it looks in the picture. It was a nice small project, kept me from cleaning!

Update: None of the boys will wear this, they say!
