Sheep and Wool Hat

Here's the hat I've been working on for the last couple of days.  It's been a really bad fibromyalgia week for me.  This was a nice distraction.  I'm trying to do what a need to do, I really want to go to bed.  But that never makes me feel any better, so I may as well keep plugging away. The young man above went with me to a shop in Pottsville, and he picked out this gorgeous tan and green DK baby alpaca.  He does know how to knit, basically, so he has an appreciation for these things.  The Sheep and Wool Hat pattern is for worsted weight, so I needed to adjust a bit.  I did about 3 repeats of the pattern and it was too small, I had to rip it all out.  It''s still a tad small, I need to soak it and block it a little bigger. He likes it, so it's a success.
